Fabrication Center

The entire fabrication process, all in one

The
Challenge

The client, a BIM platform focused on connecting design with manufacturing, aims to enable the world’s best-in-class cloud model-to-machine workflows on the market by connecting with machine manufacturers around the globe and partnering with ATG USA and Autodesk Construction Solutions. The alliance provides a process for publishing, tracking, and communicating fabrication shop workflows from anywhere in the world.

They requested that e-verse developed a comprehensive tool to manage jobs, send them to different machines, and increase production speed for customers. Additionally, they needed the tool to increase machine usage and generate profitability for the alliance.

We proposed developing an integration with BIM360, a solution that would allow them to publish, track, and communicate the entire fabrication process online, all in one place.

Our Role

We worked with the client’s team as one, in the following areas:

  • Assessing industry needs: we’ve worked on BIM and we know the industry’s pain points, so we set out to help in thinking of ways to bridge the gap between BIM model to the field.
  • Infrastructure: as software experts, we help to design and build ways to make the application reliable and scalable.
  • Integrations: we leverage BIM software knowledge to connect the modelers with the application through desktop software addins that send model data and make it available throughout the application.

The Solution

The client’s Fabrication Suite of software enables Model-to-Machine manufacturing by providing cloud publishing, tracking, and communication to all of your fabrication shop machinery.

This software connects the Addin with external machine control interfaces, distributing machine cut lists through the cloud. You can communicate directly with the fabrication shop foreman to stay up-to-date on fabrication progress and status.

Furthermore, with BIM 360 Integration, clients can publish, track, and communicate with all project stakeholders in the Fabrication Center. This allows for managing assemblies, creating packages, placing orders, and connecting designers directly to the Fabrication Shop Foremen.

“Valentin Noves and the entire e-verse team has been a pleasure to work with. Amazing communication and understanding allowed Allied BIM to develop and continually grow at a rate that surpasses our competitors.”
