Who's
the Client

Argyle is a company led by Builders and BIM nerds who wanted a jobsite tech to work as promised in our sci-fi. So they built an augmented reality app that registers your BIM to the jobsite in easy to use holograms, Like Star Trek for construction.Your team can interact with BIM throughout the project as if its a layer of data on the world (because with Argyle, it is!). It’s fast, easy, and will be your new favorite powertool.

02

The Discovery

It can be difficult for team members to communicate effectively on a construction site, particularly when working on large and complex projects. This can lead to misunderstandings, errors, and delays. Also, workers on a construction site may not have access to all the information they need to do their jobs effectively. Argyle helps to visualize BIM models and share them with team members in real-time. This can help to improve communication and reduce human error.

03

Our Role

We helped our client by creating a custom exporter out of Navisworks and Revit. This was a particular complex case due to the limitations of Navisworks and Revit dealing with a large number of geometries.

04

The Solution

Argyle’s technologies were built to connect the front line worker to their BIM data using Augmented Reality, and specifically 1:1 data overlays to guide and direct jobsite tasks. These technologies move projects and teams forward by making frontline AR safer, faster, and easier to use. And because we bring it all together on the Hololens 2, it’s remote assistance ready.
